On September 1, 2014, on the Day of Knowledge, an interactive educational centre «Cognize yourself – Discover the world» was opened at the State Darwin museum. One of the many installations of this centre is the exposition «The World of a Tree». The main element of the interactive exposition was a video wall of nine LCD panels depicting a life-size birch tree against a forest background. The video wall allows you to observe the life of a tree during different seasons, to follow the ongoing biological processes. The interactive exposition is controlled by an additional touch panel on which the visitor can explore all aspects of the tree's life, as well as get a comprehensive background on photosynthesis, evaporation and nutrient exhchange. This application is written in C# using Unity.
